New Priorities provides comprehensive psychological and educational treatment to children/adolescents and their families in an effort to halt the cycle of the devastating emotional effects of the children and families who feel they have lost control over their lives as a result of behavioral and/or mental health issues.

Using the current scientific research and studies our therapeutic approach is based on the theory and methods of cognitive-behavioral, neurological and solution focused psychology, including the concepts of personal growth, self-actualization, empowerment in decision making and choices, and a positive, optimistic view of the human condition.

New Priorities begins with a thorough understanding of the individual and the family's fears and needs. Emphasis is placed on the need to be safe and cared for, to show love and to have an arena for personal expression. through this positive and optimistic design, self-worth, confidence and self-respect will develop and grow.

This process includes a child and family intake evaluation resulting in a treatment plan that serves the child and the family. This plan takes into consideration medical, education, and mental health needs.
