David Frazee, MA

Client Specialties: I work with adolescents and adults as individuals, couples and group counseling in areas such as depression, anxiety, grief and life transitions, developmental disabilities, coping with severe mental illness, and veterans issues among others.

Philosophy and Approach: I believe that each individual, couple and family are different, separate and unique entities. I believe that they are each capable of creating a life of contentment and an optimal state of psychological health. I believe that human relationships not only form and shape us, but that they also lend healing in the deepest parts of ourselves. I employ and integrative eclectic approach to meet the needs of each individual, with a primary reliance on the techniques of Cognitive Behavior Therapy as well as Family Systems therapy to facilitate the discovery and fulfillment of each person’s therapeutic goals.

Formal Education and Training: I graduated with a Master of Arts degree from Northwest Christian College in May, 2008. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Social Science from the University of Oregon in June, 2004. Major Coursework included brain development, human development, and development of psychopathology, addictions, and family systems.
