New Priorities is a Nonprofit Mental Health and Addictions outpatient program. The Client Care Coordinator / Front Office Receptionist is responsible for incoming new client inquiries, greeting clients, visitors, and interacting with the public. The Client Care Coordinator / Front Desk Receptionist will come in contact with confidential information and must be able to maintain the required business standard of strict confidentiality. Must have excellent computer skills and knowledge.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
Answering the main telephone line and direct calls accurately.
Interact with all clients (youth, adults, donors, families, veterans, staff etc.) in a manner that promotes their feeling of importance to NPFS and present oneself in professional, courteous, engaging, friendly, informative, and client-focused attitude.
Send and distribute emails/faxes as requested.
Process intake calls/emails for services and set up files electronically and hard copy.
Check clients in for scheduled sessions, groups and collect insurance copays.
Pull client files for scheduled appointments. Scan client documents into the electronic system
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience
A High School diploma or GED is required
A minimum of one year receptionist and/or related customer services or clerical experience is preferred.
General knowledge of secretarial duties and office procedures.
Ability to work cooperatively with a culturally diverse client population and work force.
Excellent writing, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to operate office equipment: multi-line telephone system, copy machine, fax, etc.
Ability to use appropriate telephone skills to receive and process external and internal calls pertaining to inquiries, complaints, and concerns.
Must have excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office (Word & Excel)

New Priorities Family Services is a nonprofit Mental Health and Addictions outpatient program in Redmond, Oregon. We are looking for a Mental Health Supervisor who will be responsible for clinical and administrative supervision for mental health clinicians.
The Mental Health Department consists of Licensed Clinicians, Clinicians pursuing licensure, QMHPs and Student Interns . This position provides supervision appropriate to each member and their credentials as described in the Oregon Administrative Rules. They are responsible for the oversight, development and direction of clinicians offering mental health services related to screening, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of mental health disorders.
The Mental Health Supervisor is also responsible for maintaining a small manageable caseload of their own and following the duties and responsibilities of a Mental Health Counselor. Preference will be given to those who are board registered supervisors. This position will begin September 13th.

New Priorities Family Services is seeking a Recovery Mentor/Peer Specialist to work in our nonprofit Mental Health & Addictions outpatient program. This position will provide mentoring/peer support services to the substance abusing client and their family. Also, there is the opportunity to be able to obtain certification to assist mental health clients if interested and you meet the requirements. This position is for a peer mentor so the person will need to be in recovery.
Minimum required qualifications include: 1) documented abstinence; 2) ACCBO certification for Addictions Recovery Mentor or willing to acquire certification within 45 days of being hired (NPFS will send/pay for successful candidate to required trainings); 3) Valid driver license and proof of current auto insurance. Applicant must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening. (not necessarily eliminated due to past history). High School diploma or GED.
Successful Candidate must be committed to working with diverse community populations and community resources. Days/hours vary. Will be some evening hours.
Recovery Mentor duties will consist of the following (not be limited to): *Direct interactions with clients who are assigned to recovery. Transportation: taking clients to some appointments, when appropriate, if approved by supervisor. COVID restrictions apply
The recovery mentor will maintain a personal recovery program as well as model recovery-appropriate behavior.

Our objective is to provide services clients of all socioeconomic status, cultural, gender, and various backgrounds. This position includes the opportunity to work with a range of clientele. NPFS offers/encourages in-person therapy. Telehealth therapy is available. We are looking for gifted, experienced, and caring counselors who want to encourage and empower lasting change in youth, adults and families who are struggling with mental health disorders.
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Counseling/Behavioral Health/Social Work
• Experience &/or training in providing trauma therapy, family therapy, group therapy, clinical assessment, and DSM 5 diagnoses, developing treatment plans.
**NPFS also is a site that accepts interns from master college programs. Stipends are available and opportunity for paid staff positions.
Job Summary
Behavioral Health Counselors provide mental health services, case management and care coordination for a caseload of clients of various economic, social, cultural, and gender identity backgrounds. New Priorities Family Services Staff are nonjudgmental, caring, and team players. They work in collaboration with the client, their family, and the treatment team to implement developmentally appropriate individual evidenced based clinical interventions and trauma-informed therapies that promote improved behavioral and symptom management. We seek to Deliver treatment interventions that are in alignment with best practices, are strengths based, and is developmental in design.
NPFS offers staff supervision for those seeking State Licensure or CADC Certification. We collaborate with colleges to provide master internships at NPFS in mental health and substance abuse.
Schedule
Openings are available for part time or full time. 8- 10 hr shifts are determined by the staff member and supervisor. Benefits include vacation, sick leave, holiday pay, and medical insurance for full time employees. Intern days/hrs are determined by intern, college, and NPFS.
Training
Wages depend on training, experience. Stipends available for interns.

Job Description
New Priorities Family Services is a nonprofit mental health & alcohol/drug outpatient treatment program. We are an integrated facility where a client can receive both mental health and/or CD treatment. We serve adolescents and adults in our Substance Abuse Outpatient program.
NPFS works with community agencies including Juvenile and Adult corrections, schools, Medical community, School Districts and others. We also provide DUII services.

We currently have an opening for an alcohol/drug counselor. Hours are to be determined. Some evenings are required. Interns and those willing to work on CADC certification will be considered. Prefer CADC certified person, QMHP is a bonus.
In this position, you would fulfill the following essential functions:
• Conduct screening and assessment activities to determine substance use level of care and functioning, and recommend a clinical course of treatment based on individual needs.
• provide after care and monitoring of recovery efforts upon discharge from in patient treatment.
• Provide services that are family and community oriented, non judgmental, gender and culturally competent.
* Provide family education, groups and individual sessions.
• Provide case management, resource information and referral services.
•Possible involvement in DUII program
This position also requires the following qualifications and experience:
* High school diploma or GED
• completion or willing to complete core addiction classes needed for CADC certification.
• Able to pass a background check and have a minimum of 1 year sobriety. (a legal background does not automatically disqualify applicants)
• Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor I (CADC I) or CADC interns with capacity to secure within 15 months of employment.
